About Me
I've been a devotee of rocks for many years. I've worn them, carried them,
and always seemed to be giving them away. My spiritual path has wound its way
through the Unitarian Universalist Church, EST, Jungian consciousness work,
anthroposophy and various flavors of Buddhism, as well as a number of other
disciplines. I had my heart chakra initiated in 1999, and have been on a
heart-centered path ever since.
In 2005, after the death of my mother, I started a Healing with Light course,
studied pranic healing and deepened my work with energies and elementals. With
this work I really tuned into frequencies; individual, atmospheric and group.
(I should say became conscious of tuning in … the more I sit with it and
meditate on it, I find that this is all very familiar … as one of my teachers
called it, a path of recognition, rather than a path of consciousness …)
I worked with a Brazilian healer/intuitive for a time, and was given the
gift of the opportunity to do intensive work on a great many people, which
helped me tune my intuition and senses even more.
My process is multifold, and varies. I have a studio where I work … In it
I have some fairly extensive altars … I light candles, burn incense and
meditate there often. When I bring in new stones, I put them on my altar
for a time, and then I meditate with them. Each stone is blessed with an
elemental guardian (I guess that's the best word for it). I spend time in
meditation with each of these elementals as I bring them into my space.
They inform me as to the properties and uses of each stone, and I bring to
them the unconditional love of my open human heart.
When I'm creating a piece for someone specific, I place them on my altar, or
sometimes just bring them into the space in my consciousness … sometimes the
process is longer, and sometimes it happens in a flash. I pull together
stones on a plate, and when the time is right, those stones come together in
a piece of jewelry. I've done bracelets, anklets, earrings, key chains,
and pendants…
My wish in creating this jewelry is to offer to each client a lasting
touchstone, a set of stones which can serve them constitutionally or as
part of a process. It is my blessing to be able to serve in a way which
brings such perfect physical vehicles to metaphysical growth and healing
processes.
